They are still looking just as they did when I bought them now. No signs of wear, or coming lose.
Car is currently at panel beaters though after some muppet decided to use the rear of my S5 to slow his own vehicle down. Then tried to run away from me. A diesel Insignia trying to outpace an...
Congrats - that was my next colour choice you have there - I got my B9 S5 in June and I still absolutely love it. Ive finally learnt where in the rev range where to get the best exhaust burbles out of her when just coming off throttle. Probably not best for fuel consumption but who cares...
I have always enjoyed subtle mods to enhance a car, rather than ones which are in your face. Bought some of these the other day. There are a few different colours/designs, however I felt that the black and gold offset the Navarra Blue nicely. They literally take seconds to fit and are of...
No worries - quite happy to reach an arrangement.
Car isnt new, but the speakers are still the cheap paper ones - despite being 19 of them. The vibration is due to how the parcel shelf is attached. I cured mine by putting some sound deadening underneath the parcel shelf so it stops it...
So, my B9 S5 has the B&O system however I am not overally happy with how it sounds as it still appears that Audi have used the cheap paper cone speakers, which whilst there is a lot of them, I want to do better.
So I am looking at replacing them all with much better grade speakers, such as...
Just checked - no S logo on the rear calipers. Got a tracker installed on it today (Metatrak S5 VTS with remote immobilisation - installed at a place called Motorfit in Loughborough - absolutely fantastic guy and very knowledgable) Got decent MPG in individual mode (which is basically comfort...
Im wondering if the red calipers would look better than the black ones.
My commute to work is about 25 mins, mostly dual carriage ways and outside of peak hour traffic times, so I can sit there and just cruise without ever really needing to stop. Which helps my MPG
I have been detailing cars for years as a hobby and I have some ceramic coating ready for the S5 however due to a lovely driver who decided to open his door into mine, I am unable to do detail the car as I would like until such time that the smart repair has been completed. In the meantime...
A bit expensive but this is on a certain auction site at the moment

For a relay attack to work, the fob needs to be approximately 30-40 feet within range of the car. So if you are walking around a shop and your car is parked more than that distance away, it wouldnt work anyway.
Thanks everyone - I dont know anyone who has one unfortunately. I am looking at getting a reversing camera retrofitted so will probably ask them then if they can put it as an option for me.
Ive had a good look, can see the option for folding mirrors on lock, which door/s to unlock with a single click etc, but no option for disabling the auto lock. Never liked it when cars lock the doors automatically for me. Just a little pet peeve of mine
Drives me absolutely bonkers - as soon as you move off, the doors lock. Is there anyway to disable this? Ive scoured the MMI system and cannot see an option for disabling this
