It's in their table:
Stock As Reported by Audi 95 RON 349 HP
Stock As Measured by APR 98 RON 397 HP
If the ECU can take advantage of higher octane fuel then yes indeed that sort of difference is possible.
The trouble with comparing fuels is that unless you force it, the changes will take time...
As I noted on another thread, I have a dashcam and stage 2 tune and was able to get warranty work done by Audi. The only issue could be if the warranty claim is related - so if there was an electrical fault. Best to use piggy-back fuses to tap into power so that none of the OE wiring is actually...
Intake will always be as high as possible - so literally just under the lip of the bonnet/hood. With the turbo in the V and the hottest part of the exhaust running behind the engine I'd expect this car to be reasonably resilient to thermal shock. But I'm with @cuke2u - why risk such an expensive...
I think that's more "squeak" than "whine". I suspect a premature failure of pulley or tensioner wheel in the auxilllary drive system.
BTW your car does not have a belt-driven fan - that's rather old tech.
ZF definitely recommend an oil change, even if Audi don't. But one of the problems about Audi dealer servicing is that generally if its not a service item, they won't or can't service it even if you ask! You'd probably have to go to an indie.
One more thought: If, like the S6 and S7, the ROW will get a petrol engine. Does that mean that the UK will be the only market for the diesel version in RHD? If so maybe they won't make any for the UK anyway?
Well we were expecting it weren't we?
In some respects it should be a good engine with that electric compressor, so the low down torque should really be noticeable. But I imagine that it will feel weird to drive compared to the previous S5s because of the relative short shifting. And manual...
I note the comment: In overseas markets – to reflect local customer preferences and driving profiles – the S6 and S7 will be available as the 2.9 TFSI with an output of 450 hp and 600 Nm (442.5 lb-ft) of torque. Like the TDI models, the V6 gasoline version will be equipped with both the EPC and...
I'm not entirely sure what spec was needed, but mine had "tech pack - high" and "phone prep - high with connect". Looking at the 2015 brochure "Google Earth & Street View" is shown as a feature for the latter but needs MMI Nav+ which is part of the tech pack. So it would seem that your RS4...
I have Google Earth on my B8.5 MMI. Yesterday there was a pause when it reloaded when I changed scale, and the MMI did ask me to check my SIM at boot. It wasn't clear if it meant my phone SIM or the car's SIM, so I just ejected and re-inserted the latter, However apart from that Google Earth was...
It's sad to read this. It may not help but just in case it is worth noting that whilst performance in D for the B8 is pretty sluggish due to the gear mapping, there is definitely no similar hesitation when pulling away at junctions. If what you describe for the B9 is true then it is very much a...
The ABT solution is not an ECU reflash (IFAIK the B9 ECU has not been cracked yet), it is a piggy-back. The reason it is so expensive is that it is a whole new ECU which effectively replaces the existing one, although being a piggy-back it can be removed so that the car can be taken back to...
If I buy an RS in the near future (although in reality I think I'll be keeping my S5 for a while), then it will be the RS5 sportback. So I have just noticed the news that it has been announced. I was rather surprised to see two articles mention that the kerb weight will be 184okg which seems a...
@MattS5 - pic attached. Note that the F750 hs quite different from the F770 because the connectors are on the other side. When I saw the F770 I thought I might get one but as it turns out I turn mine off when it is parked in my garage to save the battery and the easiest way for me to do that is...
