Ah I see! That explains everything then! I disconnected the BOSE and then my brakelights werent working at all, If it has a permanent live-wire on it maybe its just blown the fuse for my brake-lights!

Hi guys can some-one please explain how to disconnect the standard Bose Sub in My A3 T Sport? I have another 12 Sub in the boot and with both of them going it sounds crap! Dont mind it still being in the Arch just need it disconnecting, Is it that big black box that you unclip that disconnects...
Hoping to get one soon with the Sat nav TV etc etc,
Which is the one to go for?
I fancyed geting one on finance 6 months 0% cant really loose out then!

It is so much easier to instal a sub mate if you change the headunit as the audi one doesnt have preouts for a sub i dont think? there is a way round it but i still think its alto easier just to change the headunit.

Nero is good for burning i have a DVD headunit and i just copy data CD's get about 200 tracks on one disk then.
You can burn onto a dvd disc then the possibilty for tracks is endless 3.7 gb worth i think not figured out how to do it yet though!

Interesting you say that granted it is a very tight fit i still manage to get it in there nicely fitted it myself couple of weeks back when i installed my Sub and that Etc.
Its not a bad HU but for the price think you could get something better....

Ive done a few things uadio wise firstly i got an uatoleads wiring adapter and bought a Ripspeed DVD headunit from halfords plug in fine and fitted nice.
Made the standard sub more punchy and also your getting more power through the front speakers as the standard HU is only 25 w i think...
Fitted a 12" Sub and amp over the weekend really happy with the results only 1 thing i wanted to ask i now have My JBL sub and the audi Sub on both at the same time is that ok??
Really impressed with the speakers too no distortion nothing when you turn the bass up.

Hi guys i have an aftermarket HU and want to add a sub this weekend if im fitting it myself is it as easy as it is in any other car?
Ie: i want the speakers working and the sub as it currently has the bose sub and amp installed.
Dont want to buy the sub and not be able to fit it thats all...
Hi there i need your help hehe. I want more bass simple as that and my bose just doesnt cut it. Im thinking one of the Vibe subs 1200w with inbuilt amp would do the job nicely what do you think will i encounter any problems getting this fitted?

Just thought id say i have expierienced no clicking problems and any of the other problems you lot have expierienced when fitting aftermarket HU's.
Hlafords fitted mine and the sound quality is so much clearer i personally dont think there is no need for aftermarket Subs/amps speakers are...
Ok thats great thats what i wanted to know halfords reckon it was a BOSE harness they ordered so i'll have to see how it is when fitted.
Probably will still go for a VIBE 1200w Sub sometime soon tho and obviously a differnt amp powering it

Hi there in the process of getting my dvd headunit fitted into the A3.
Have a couple of questions regarding the BOSE System.. Apparantly halfords say fitting this headunit ( a ripspeed dvd) into a TT with the Bose system they had problems with it sounding crap and making a horrible noise any...
