They never contacted me to arrange the recall to be carried out, I had to book myself in with my local Audi centre and it took two appointments (leave car in AM, get told PM the parts are not available). It was sorted on September 10th and a week later I get a reminder letter (dated 15th so 5...
According to a second source it does - another member posted an official recall notice on the thread in the link I posted above which states that it’s for both TDI and TFSI.
Hi all,
Link to the letter referred to above I posted in the C8 forum this morning for convenience: https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/safety-recall-27h2-45tfsi-starter-alternator.418260/
I had an existing appointment with my local Audi for mid August (earliest available) to sort out a...
There is a new RS4 FL in Misano Red that came in from the factory about 3 weeks ago in the showroom of Wimbledon Audi, had a look at it when I was ordering my A6, so looks like there’s some production going on.
Fair enough, my suggestion was a long shot anyway, comparing the FM radio on my 1998 Saab to a 20 years newer DAB radio doesn’t really work, but who knows with tech these days...
A bit of a random thought on this, possibly the radio detects a radio Traffic Alert but for some reason doesn’t switch to the station transmitting that? Or one isn’t set in settings?
I had a Saab many years ago and it would often cut out the FM radio just because another station was...
I have the same issue on my SEAT Leon mk2 6 speed manual (1.4 TSI).
It started when the Mrs. accidentally downshifted from 2nd gear to 1st instead of shifting up to 3rd leading to a sound no motoring enthusiast should hear!
Initially 1st gear could not be selected at all, but after a couple of...
No particular reason apart from PN being my current MOT station and for some reason I never use the same place as a MOT and mechanic. I may well end up using PN at some point as well.
Great link! That says that in each headlight there are 14 individual LEDs and I count just about so many (a bit hard to tell) “fingerprints” in the OP’s photos.
Those blothches that look like fingerprints are the outlines of the individual beams of light let off by the individual LED diodes forming part of the cluster - in the headlamp unit there is not one LED bulb but a cluster of multiple each contributing to form the overall beam.
I have this issue with streaming audio on mobile devices each time the mobile network changes from 4G to 3G and vice versa, could it be related to that perhaps?
Hi Psycho,
I’m based in SW4 and have used Peter Norris in Clapham on a few occasions for my Leon, they are a VAG specialist and found them to be decent, a bit pricy but not near Audi level.
Once I take ownership of my B9 I will give GSF Motor Works in Battersea a try.
