Found my answer, If the breather valve is faulty, full engine vacuum is typically found when removing the oil cap at idle. So the best things to check either of these faults is to check for split / damaged hoses and to test breather remove oil cap?

Well last night i popped the bonnet while it was running, and it sounded like an old kettle with a whistle. Now really confused.. Crankcase Breather Valve? Or breather hoses? I am going to check all the breather hoses, to make sure they are not split – but how can i check crankcase breather...
