Have you replaced the bulb? Battery in the key? Checked the aux heater for damage under the car? Had a broken window or an attempt to steal the car that could damage the door , any damage to the wires in the rubber boot between the door and the body?

Have you got another earth leak ? Try putting a jump lead from the negative on the battery to the gearbox engine and other various earth points and try to clear the faults again. Have you had a jump start and spiked the module/ecu ? Have you got a tow bar?

What about a proper bypass module? maybe the resistor is the wrong value? have you tried the resistance on the drivers seat to check it is the same as the passenger seat?

Did you try to clear these faults or is this after a clear ?

What aspect are you looking at ? Fueling ? Boost ? Timing ? Miss fire , Maf to Load ?

problem fixed ? I have a very good indy in New Ash Green.

It does depend on the fault but normally the car will run as if the fault was not there.

Have you tried your VCDS / vagcom on another car yet?
