He does do a few short journeys but every weekend he's out for a long drive somewhere with the mother. He said even after an hour drive on A roads it's sometimes started to regen
Thanks for the advice. He's running a DTUK box on it but all the regen cycles are doing his head in aparently. And now he's heard it will give him more performance and more mpg he want to know more about it
My old man is thinking about the dpf removal on his 65 a6. If he removes it will he need the remap or will he get away without one as he's thinking about engine warranty from the remap

Don't know if it helps but my old man has got a DTUK box on his 63plate 2.0 TDi 177bhp a6. It's transformed the car. I believe his words were " it pulls your foreskin back now" and he's gets an average of 10mpg more and the box is still set on 0. Dunno what it will be like if he put it to +3...
