Had eibach on my bitdi. great ride and drop with no issues with rubbing. If you want more precise handling control and drop then go with coilovers

Averaging 21-22 in my RS6 but thats mostly local driving and the bitdi got around 35-38 mpg. getting in the bitdi even after driving the RS still feels so smooth and effortless and a joy to drive. Probably why im still torn about selling it.

Check the anti roll bar link rods. They can cause the small knocking noise when they are very slightly worn

Standard tyre width is 255 for the A6. The A7 can accommodate a wider wheel and tyre so just double check it. Ive got 255 on mine with a very low ET on the wheels

Scrutinise the service history, Look into when the gearbox will need an oil change; factor that into price. MOT history all tally up? What warranty work has been done on its at all possible to see these days do to the secrecy act. Any painted panels? Check the rear cubby areas and spare tyre...

Also best to check what brakes you have fitted by cross ref them on the PR codes list usually found in the boot or in your service book

Drive a bitdi as well and you will love the immense torque it has. Get it remapped and you'll never be disappointed. Awesome engine

Try to find some used ones from a breakers yard. Dont buy the new ones on ebay from chinese manufacturers as they dont work.

That part is a common failure on these engines. Ive changed mine as well. You need to check if all the sensors have been plugged back in properly. Has one come off? The code for thermostat on cylinder head is either disconnected or dead
