I mean it won't help, I'd fix that first then try the MAF after, but normally if you unplug it and it improves then its the MAF unfortunately. Try Autodoc, that's about the cheapest you'll get
Red I believe is for power adjustable seats, green is for seat heating. You shouldn't repair airbag wires but that's a different topic.
Did your old seats only have Red and Green connectors too?
If you know someone with VCDS they can just code these out and avoid having to use resistors
You need a fairly decent code reader or VCDS to clear airbag codes. I'm not sure what's going on with the light going off as airbag lights should be persistent really
Not sure if you still need help with this but in theory yes with no issues. Quattro is fully mechanical. There might be a slight coding difference but it should still work
As above airbag codes are "hard/persistent". If you trigger one it wont just fix itself when you reconnect the sensor or whatever. VCDS or some other fairly expensive scanner, Snap-on etc can clear them. Just take it to a decent garage and they'll do it in 5 minutes
99% sure its not resistance. It'll most likely be a Bosch HFM or hot wire in which case they have active electronics. Power, Ground, Ref and output. They do still fail though.
If it works better with the MAF unplugged then you can be fairly sure that is the issue. Always, Always, Always get the...
Does anyone have an archive of the A4 B6 brochures? I know there's a thread on here with a link to the Audi website, but they appear to have been removed?
Sorry would do a part number request but I can't find it after the update?
Is the optic for illuminated door handles available as a separate part? Or does the entire handle have to be bought
Sorry to dredge this up but does anyone have any more detail on this? I've seen some which look to have half alcantara seats and the body looks almost like that of an S4?
