Sound like bodgers to me, once a turbo has blown everything downline from it MUST be cleaned out ESPECIALLY intercooler ,pipes inlet etc, oil dripping after new turbo is a sign that
1 They did not run the car up to temp and check for leaks
2.They don't have a clue and shouldn't be in business...
changing outer skin is pretty simple job, changing whole roof is not too difficult but more time consuming and if any of the sensors get knocked slightly during the process it can be a pain.
0.0 does not mean its right, you really should have checked value BEFORE belt chain but not to worry, just move +.5 and then see if there's a difference if its better try going to 1.0 if its worse then go -.5 etc. Trial and error now!
Ls9 is 628 bhp straight out the box ,factory standard! A mild tune (remap) gives 800+ at a cost of less than £300 , spend £1k on it and your into 1000+ bhp with matching torque figures, which by the way is above the 987 bhp veyron motor which had to be a w16 because vw blew up the v8,s trying to...
Buy the 4,2 audi , rip out the v8 and fit a chevy LS9 with corresponding box of choice get a prop made (£250) and then you have a proper car with 600+ bhp and no problems.Better fuel economy than the audi with an engine thats a million years infront of audi.
fuel mileage is determined by torsion value, if you dont have this right you will lose economy or power or both, changing cambelts without checking TV before change is classic sign of torsion value being slightly out thus giving your problem.
So step 1 check torsion WITH VCDS and post results plz.
If you have pressure behind oil filler cap then pcv is ok , if its faulty the filler cap will be sucked down and hard to remove when the motors running!
It could be the PRV valve as the bleeds off boost blow by and if its faulty it wont be releasing the pressure.
It is at the back end of the...
Do not put SMF in a tdi especially a 6 speed !!!!!
Solids are ok in petrols but diesels are awful with them, ive fitted a few and my fathers tdi 130 id mapped to 160 with a solid and its not smooth to drive, plus the torque in a diesel destroys the box with a solid.
Dan, Don't grease the switches grease the mechanism. If you look up when the roof is closed there is a plastic panel on the inside of the roof which covers the locking mechanism remove the panel , about 8 or so posi drive screws , you will then see the mechanism in talking about.
2 micro switches in front of roof under plastic cover.1 switch each side of mechanism 1 sensors open 1 sensors shut.
If the latch mechanism gets stiff it doesn't always hit the switch enough to tell ccm to close the deck.Or there is a switch that the roof triggers when it's down to tell deck to...
