I got the fault code: Driver Door Module - No Communication Power Supply - Interuppted whilst scanning the Comfort Module. Symptoms: No power to door at all. No window control,no mirror control, no locking. Anyone any idea, it only just happened.

Ok, the car sometimes refuses to start, it just cuts out, with the imobilizer light flashing. The only fault is Key Signal Low. What would cause this? The Transponder in key or Reciever in car? Any help appreciated.

I remapped mine my self using a tuning file from Celtic, i have a K04 Turbo, FMIC, Uprated Cam's and Sports Cat/Exhaust. Its about 240bhp i think atm, need to get it on Rolling Road.

Car needed recon engine. Contacted a company in Essex who supplys and Fits recon engines. They quoted me £1500 for a recon engine fitted, and £500 if a new turbo is required also. So in October 2009, i paid for the Recon engine, and i had the car back on the 5 of november, everything was fine...

Well got the car down there, went and picked it up yesterday, they said they checked everything and replaced thermostat. Got halfway back to peterborough up the M11, *BANG* and loads of steam, found 2 split pipes ******* out with water. So car is back in now, with the threat of legal action.

re-conditioned engine nov 2009 head gasket blew 800 miles after engine put in got it back in wednesday (2 MONTHS TO DO HEAD GASKET!!) So im not sure what they replaced they did mention new cambelt and tensioners but not sure if they changed water pump!

its loosing water now and boiling out of the expansion tank..... I think its either thermostat or head gasket again

Ok, the heater on the car is blowing cold air when i idle, give it some revs (past 3000) it heats up fine inside! checked the water it seems to be pressurising alot, just had the head gasket replaced and they said they bled it and run it up. What else could cause this?

the ESP light might mean you need the Steering Wheel Zeroed buy vag-com or some other tool (Launch X431 :)) I will try to dig out some information on the wiring and safety functions of the electric windows.

Does anyone know where the Alarm siren is or should be on the Cabriolet? My Launch x431 brings up Alarm Siren - No Communication. Ive searched there rear quater of the boot both sides also both sides in the rear seat area. Any one know where it should be?

ok, im pretty good with the welder, was thinking of making my own exhaust system from the cat-back, but want to do it at a budget, would i loose performance from two universal rear cans/

To be honest, no engine conversion is major work! Ive put a 2.0 turbo engine out of a cavalier into a Mini, so a S4 engine should be simpler!

I seen this before, it was fixed by running it through basic adaption on the brake pressure sensor or steering angle sensor, as this can be reset by having the battery off too long or jump starting the car. Shame you did not post any fault codes from the ABS module.

Most TDI's are like this, diesel is a combustion fuel, works at warmer temperatures, so from cold, can be quite slow and un-responsive. I have a Mercedes C270 2.7 CTDI, and thats the same when cold, but when its warm the 200bhp soon kicks in :)

It will be the Rocker Cover Gasket, it seals the cover where the spark plugs are, its quite common gasket to fail. Should take no more then 20mins to replace, just a few nuts to take off

Maybe the sensor in the bottom of sump is disconnected or broken or the oil pressure switch near the oil filter? Give them a check first!

Well, went to Peterborough last night, around 6pm, stuck in traffic, temperature gauge started creeping so i pulled over and switched car off for 20mins, engine was below 90, started it up, continued driving, fine! Got on the bypass home, temperature gauge shot round to 100 degrees, coolant...

Solved the problem!!!! Mice had chewed some wires, one of them was split completely which happened to match the rear lights color, just a simple crimp of a new bit of wire, jobs a goodun! They nested under the rear seat drivers side, behind the trim panel. One down, few more bits to go!
