    Sliding rail guide replacement

That guide falling out would not make the seat go back., they are there for side to side movement and there are 2 of them. Sounds like something has come lose or broken.

    Interior parts needed.

American market will all be left hand drive, will be surprised if you find the part your looking for there. Audi Tradition is the only option if your looking for new parts. Your only other option would be to find someone that can restore them. Most B5 being broken is because they are old and...

    Oh Dear…….first breakdown, help needed.

Had the same sounding fault on my B5 many years ago. Immobiliser had failed in the barrel. Had to get a new barrel and have it tumbled to match the existing keys.

Fog Light for Pre-Face lift Audi S4 B5 Avant.

I have a pre facelift B5 but that does not have front fog lights, never looked into fitting them so I'm not sure. I can only tell you what ETKA is telling me. I don't even know if that bracket mounts to the bumper or the bodywork of the car but I'm guessing the bumper.

Fog Light for Pre-Face lift Audi S4 B5 Avant.

That I don't know. However etka doesn't give 100% accurate diagrams. So I would not go off the etka drawings

Fog Light for Pre-Face lift Audi S4 B5 Avant.

That link does not work. Fog lights mount to the bumper on the facelift B5. They don't have a separate bracket.

Fog Light for Pre-Face lift Audi S4 B5 Avant.

Everything you need for the pre facelift. However getting hold of the brackets if not already fitted will be difficult.

    Radio Switched Power?

You don' t need to remove the cluster. Just look at this plug that goes to the radio If they are missing or the plug is missing then you would need to buy the plug and run two wires from the cluster to the radio. What the pins are on the cluster side I have no idea.

    Radio Switched Power?

Do you have the CANL & CANH wires in the harness? I've retrofitted RNS-E on B5 before and taken the can-bus wires form the cluster and that powered on and off the RNS-E as there is no switched live pin on the unit. As I have already stated from what I understand kline is for diagnostic only...

    Radio Switched Power?

Kline runs to the ECU, instrument cluster, ABS, airbag and other electronic modules in the car. However kline was only used for diagnostic from what I know. I think what you could be missing is the infotainment can-bus wires coming from the cluster or you need to code the cluster to tell it has...

    Radio Switched Power?

Yes the car does have kline but looking your connector it does not have kline to the radio. Permeant live is there to keep the memory of the radio and it's the main power feed wire as it's usually a thick gauge wire. switched live just tells the radio to switch on and off only and is usually a...

    Radio Switched Power?

Depends on the model year not all B5's had kline to the radio. My 96 does not have kline. Also does not have a switched live connector. My A4 did not not come with a radio from factory (Yes that was an option back in the day) so it allowed you just to fit your own radio. Even with the no radio...

Weird problems with windows and door unlocking

I would take the door cards off and the rubber boot that goes between the door & A pillar and see if you have any damaged wiring.

Control Arm Kits S4 B5...? Confusing!

I would forget about Meyle and go Lemforder, they cost a little bit more but will last much longer, as they were the OEM arm for Audi, and even today you will still see where Lemfoder grind the Audi part number & logo for the arms as they are not allowed to sell them with Audi's logo still on...

Hibiscus Red TQS - New Car, New Project, cars been here before though.

Yes I believe it's number 5, which is aprox 30mm, just measure up and see what size hole you have. As far as the oil leaks go, only real way do stop them on a car of your age is to pull the engine out and change every external oil seal the engine has. That sorted it on my engine. Also change...

    E5 And E10 Fuel

You could be Ok, however if your car is a 2001 B6 model then your looking at 20 year old fuel lines, so don't be too surprised if you get leaks a few months after using E10. It could be fine but something to keep an eye on.

    E5 And E10 Fuel

The parking heater was an OEM option in some countries (not available as an option on the UK on the B5 model) You could get a timer and it would warm the engine coolant and the cabin very useful when the temperature drops well below freezing. For me the 2001-2008 models would be the B6/B7...
