Following on from some previous threads (started new thread as old thread headers don't suit anymore)
After having three wheels damaged after having two new tyres fitted and a puncture repaired, have today had had the wheels delivered back to me, refurbished.
I'm at a loss as...
Can anyone who has recently bought a BRAND NEW Audi (any model really) had they noticed wether or not the steering wheel is ABSOLUTELY DEAD straight (ie not even the tiniest bit out to the left or right when moving in a straight line) I seem to remember mine being like this but now have noticed...
Anybody with a new shape A3 (2003-) that have the none smoking pack (sprung flap over lighter socket) know how this flap can be changed?? Is it easy or is it rip the whole central console out?? Mine is marked and was hoping it wud be easy to change with it being a small part.

not impressed took my A3 in to audi to have one front tyre replaced (see earlier thread) and they have managed to damage the entire circumference of the wheel - the shocking thing is they just did the job parked the car outside and handed me the kes back with the words - 'all done sir' i mean...
sorted! luckily with a little 'being economical with the truth' i am getting the tyre replaced under warranty!
phew!! now just hope they dont damage my wheel in the process of replacing as apparantly they get kwik fit to do tyres they dont stock!!

well cos thats where i bought the car from and if when i have had tyre replaced there is the slightest bit of vibration i will come down on them like a ton of bricks - the last car i had was never the same after the first set of tyres dont know why - hope this one doesnt go the same - jeeez i...
i've dropped an almighty ******* - cars only 4 weeks old and ive managed to write off a tyre already (brick in road!!!!! :-( ) anybody had audi replace a pirelli pzero 225/45/17 91Y - just want to know what to expect - im reckoning its gonna be a couple of ton from audi after they marked it up...
Got up this morning and found some bird had done doodoo's on my brand newcar - luckily i thought its only on glass so shud be a bit easier to get off than paint (was quite hard and dry). So i hose it mostly off but bits still remained and i thought glass is quite tough so i scratched it lightly...
Finally took delivery of my brand spanking A3 - and can i just say I have never driven anything which feels so right and sure - its absolutely superb!!! That 2.0 TDI is so pokey!
Dealer although very very helpful hasnt really valeted it to the standard i would like it to be so I havent took any...
Well after ordering my A3 back in april it finally been delivered to the dealer - couldnt resist going for a look and take a few snaps - and im sure everyone likes a few snaps so here ya go....

I think most car experts would suggest that the limit a fwd car can handle for power is around the 200bhp mark - any more is just gonna get wasted. Traction control in its essence does just that it controls traction - it doesnt make u accelerate any quicker indeed on ym mlast car i found that...
