my old Jabba manifold required me to take the head off to get the manifold off. There was no way to get it off after 6 years of heat cycles with the head on the car. Even then i had to chissel the bolts off. new JBS manifold is much more roomy due to it being welded and not cast.

Used wrinkle paint for manifold and rocker cover. works quite well and is pretty tough once baked. I didnt want the covers anymore...an engine bay full of plastic and covers is a bit dull IMO

Problem is with such a stretch, the tyres will be different circumference regardless as stretching pulls down the contact area towards the rim. You'd have to do some real good calculations. What size are the rears? 9.5"?

They should be fairly tight, and there should be some form of PTFE/sealent or something that seals them up. Cylinder 3 tends to be the one to leak.

yep its a splined bar, so you can move it a couple degrees at a time. BTW - You will likely need ALOT of force to undo the centre nut. On mine it took a 24" breaker bar to shift it the first time.
