Simply, yes. Its normal.
If you mean especially at full throttle at low RPM then it does sound like a scooby a bit.
As long as the power is smooth, then its fine.
I went for the ECS Stage 1 (G60 SM flywheel) and uprated clutch. I put320bhp and 300lbft through mine and am yet to have any problems. My brothers is the same - No issues.
Dual mass are expensive and if you can drive properly, you wont notice the driver comfort aspect either to be honest.

my old Jabba manifold required me to take the head off to get the manifold off. There was no way to get it off after 6 years of heat cycles with the head on the car. Even then i had to chissel the bolts off.
new JBS manifold is much more roomy due to it being welded and not cast.

But it should just about be the fixing points only. The pipework might get in the way, but the actual engine is the same, so no reason it shouldnt fit with the correct brackets.
yep its a splined bar, so you can move it a couple degrees at a time.
BTW - You will likely need ALOT of force to undo the centre nut. On mine it took a 24" breaker bar to shift it the first time.
