Hi, i had a bump on the 29th Dec 2020 , and at the moment it is on going however my insurance is due on the 23rd March 2021 and i am looking at on line quotes..My issue is when i declare that i have had a accident on the 29th Dec in the details section i don't know the cost as it is not...
Thats no comparrison ,i have not said i wanted the job at a reduced price ...In fact i have taken it to another garage nearer work but a commute home on public transport and they are happy i have supplied the part .
The point i am trying to make here is i was just surprised at the refusal ,as said local small garage plus the fact i did say i was finding it difficult getting a aftermarket one so just opted for the Audi genuine part thinking this would be easier ...
I have taken my buisness elsewhere ,but being just a few hundred yards from where i live it would have made life easiser for me dropping and picking the car up....(i work split shifts and i home for four hours a day from 10.30 -2.30 )
Again i can understand this ,would have been fine with it if he explained a few things but saying that he was getting it from the same place i was and i doubt he would have made much on the mark up on a £28 part..
Thats fine i can totaly understand that if that was the case and if had said he would do it if he ordered part (from Audi like i did ) i would have be fine with that but Audi Oldham parts do not take payment over the phone and i had to travel 10 miles to pay for it order and i will have to do...
