Oh, I'm in Canberra, so close to Sydney. Well close for Australia anyway, it's about the same distance as London to Paris IIRC. But when I go to Sydney I often go up and back in the same day.

Pretty scary stuff and hard to get a real handle on it from all the way Down Under. Not sure an extreme right wing approach is the right answer, but can certainly understand the sentiment. Hope it all settles down soon.
