As above, it's a lovely car to drive, and it'll eat the hills for breakfast. But I get around 18mpg around town, and mid to high 20's on a run would be a luxury. Maybe just a remap on your 2.0 tfsi would be a better option.
Have a read through this. http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=7&sqi=2&ved=0CHAQFjAG&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.uklegacy.com%2Fforums%2Findex.php%3Fshowtopic%3D122107&rct=j&q=engine%20decarbonization%20service%20uk&ei=UdvBT-u_NamO0AXjwpSwCg&usg=AFQjCNHiSaIBj0HF7WlXHL9Fnb-jkjvm0g. It's a...
Go for it. Read up on all the stuff to look out for, and find yourself a well looked after v6 for under 5k. They're beautiful to drive, and it'd sound awesome cruising round the countryside. You wouldn't be dissapointed, just be prepared for low 20 mpg, and if you want big power you'll need a...
Now that's what I'm looking for! Their work looks amazing, thanks mate. It's a bit of a trek, but I'll travel for quality. Now just to enquire about some prices.

Apparently there used to be a problem with dodgy used car dealers filling the a/c with butane. Excellent refrigerant, but not very safe! Best way to get your aircon done is to get it plugged into a machine at the garage anyway. If you need to top up then you've more than likely got a leak and...
Don't lose faith in the brand because the sales people are rubbish mate. Get yourself a beautiful second hand rs4 and use the change for a detail or some nice mods. We're all here cos we love the car, not the people that sell them.
Yeah think you're right. Found them on an American site after your post. They were over $800 each with no tyres though, for an 18x7.5, 5x100, with no tyres. No wonder they're quite rare!
What a corker! That was certainly an enjoyable days work. Sounds like a nice guy too. Nice to see good cars well looked after, too many of them now are just disposable boy toys.
