I agree with it if they enforce it properly.
I am just concerned it will open up a whole can of worms.
Remember, if you don't believe you were in the wrong, just deny the offence and fight it in court!

Every year i have my Audi serviced at VAGTECH.
They do a better job, for a better price and use the same if not better equipment.

Get your plates changed and your private reg on retention, then and only then sell your car with its old plate (OR AN ALTERNATIVE).
Make sure you have it confirmed that the plate is on retention and that the old reg is back on the car.
Just out of interest did they ask to see your car/or the damage?
Did they request a receipt for the replacement parts or fitting from the garage? or did they simply send you a cheque?
