As long as it’s been parked in a dry garage for 4 years I wouldn’t have an issue with it being parked up and certainly wouldn’t bother me if it hadn’t been serviced.

If you had 6 bar of ac pressure in the system and it wasn’t working still then the leak is not your issue. (6 bar of pressure is fine) The were common issues with the compressor drive screw coming undone (unsure how old your car is). Around 2009-2012 models. Could be a broader range.

If you don’t connect the airbag connector I can’t see how it can blow. As it’s only job is to blow when it’s receives a signal from the airbag connector, so my guess it that if it’s not a genuine fuse it wasn’t rated high enough.
Oh was it not a genuine fuse? They are only about £35. The airbag connector is the only thing that can blow it. As the live comes directly from the battery. So highly unlikely to be a spike from there.
To me the fact the clutch and turbo have not previously been replaced I see as a good thing. It means the car hasn’t been driven to death and the engine and gearbox have been well looked after.
176k wouldn’t bother me at all as long as it’s been properly maintained. My friend bought a Passat (with the same engine) and it’s now on just over 320k. (Ex taxi) he’s had it 2 years now and not had one single problem.
