it is S-tronic, It is in my S3 Manual as well, though no mention of traction control, would have thought it would be quicker with traction control on?, it is just holding brake on and throttle to rev and lift brake and floor throttle.

TBH pretty well most car manufactures release fuel figures that are not achievable in everyday motoring, they have to be tested under certain conditions. Also M3's were always quite good on petrol if driving right. I am quite pleased with my S3 getting 30+ sometimes, but never really lower...

Actually that is odd, as the S3 figures I have seen states it is quicker, maybe as it is a 7 speed for S4 and not a 6 speed it is making an extra change over the manual?

well when I ordered my S3, although it was a stock car ordered by the garage it had not been built, or could they give me a delivery date, but they would/said could not change nothing

Auto for me I got an S3 DSG, it is just such fun, and quicker to 60, and more MPG, put it in manual and drive it like an manual just no clutch, the gear change is just beautiful, and so fast to flick through the gears, it is the way forward, and again better for resale later on

I too agree the S4 wants a little more, but trouble is you never know what is following you under the bonnet either, maybe that had been tampered with

I see MtM have one as well, gives it a tidy boost, for a tidy sum of money

Is there any map options on the S4 yet? (is it the supercharged one?)
