I don't think T-cut & modern paints mix or maybe just not with hard Audi paint, it's pretty much impossible to remove the swirls by hand you really do need a DA polisher for that, probably the best you can do is use a polish with fillers in rather than a cutting polish, I thing Autoglym super...

If you end up doing this with someone 1animal, & if you don't mind I could do with getting in on some of the 10% action as i need to order a few bits from polished bliss in the future(I've started doing a bit of detailing at the weekends on other peoples cars):o.k:

They are good machine's the G220 1animal1, I never used a pc before I got my G220 from poished bliss but I can say in terms of quality it does seem well built & feels robust, also I found polished bliss to be slightly cheaper than their competitors so with the 10% off you can't go wrong mate.

I would say i got 90% correction, dunno if I'm been to critical though?, Not 100% sure if my technique was right but what I did was for the roof and bonnet I did those in four sections spending about 6-8 mins on each section, and wings, bumpers, doors, tailgate, pillars I split into two...

Put it this way I've spent 6hrs so far & I'm about half way through, I think the rotary is the way if you have the bottle/skill to use one, it'll certainly be quicker no doubt , but the G220 seems a very good machine never the less.

I've got a phantom black A3 of the same age, & I would say if you are doing it by hand autoglym super resin polish, followed by auto glym extra gloss protection takes some beating because its easy to use and it has really good filling qualities to mask the swirls quite well if you work it for...

Hi, I've got white line paint spots all over the front end of my car & a couple on the roof, is there a safe way to remove this stuff by hand?, it's hit the worst colour possible as it's a phantom black A3. any help appreciated. Cheers
