Dont suppose you know if anyone will be videoing the wash techniques? I'd come along but its one heck of a journey for me. The write ups I have read are good but would be better to see it in practice.
Only problem with claying or using Tardis is that you end up having to re-wax after every wash. So at the moment I am leaving any bug residue that doesn't come off and plan on using the tardis only once a month or so on them cos its not practical to be doing waxing every week.
Megs Last Touch makes a good clay lube. But if you use Bilt Hamber clay you only need water as lube.
Autoglym Super Resin Polish or Clearkote Vanilla Moose Glaze may reduce some of the swirling but without a lot of work I dont think they will completely be removed from hand polishing.
I think there is a way to do it that involves sanding them down then machine polishing them afterwards but glass is pretty tough stuff to be polishing scratches out of!
I use the Chemical Guys Maxi Suds II on mine and find it nice and foamy.
After the clay I use Carlack 68 Nano Synthetic Care then Victoria Concours Wax. Leaves a lovely deep glossy shine and the flake pop is good in direct sunlight.
Theres nothing wrong with what I am using but out of...
Very nice!
What products did you use?
I'm picking up a Phantom Black A3 S-line 1st November so want to give a coat of wax to try to protect it till I get a proper detailer on the case.
