Much needed clean. So many tar spots

Has anyone found a fool proof interior cleaner for the door arm rest and trim adjacent to the door window. The crocodile style trim. Cant seem to get mine 100%, always appears marked up. I've used autofinesse interior cleaner with a brush but doesn't appear to work great.

That's about spot on for what I saw on Friday evening when I went to see the car after he'd started compounding it. Was better but not 100%.

Unfortunately I have no idea how it got on there. I can only assume someone was painting outside and the wind has carried it. Trust me if I knew where and how it happened I'd be baying for the cash to get a full detail on the car.

What's best for cleaning the trim inside the car. The leather or leatherette. When it rains I get marks down the interior door trims.

Well gave this another go as I've ran out of meguiars quick detailer Used it sparingly and used copious amounts of rinsing. Didnt come out too bad.

Found using the shampoo along side it works well. Used to use auto plan, but they changed the recipe and it refused to foam. Get a very different water finish when rinsing if that makes sense. Seems to shed water better.

Did try this but couldn't get on with it. Tended to streak on. User error probably
