What's the estimated cost of the memory seat upgrade (2022 SQ5)?

Regular diesel for my 2022 SQ5 too. Not even bothered trying premium and not had the 'tinkling' noise either. On another note, my car is going in for an engine software update (23EI 2022-07-22 W) - anyone have any idea what this will do and will I notice any difference?

Would wrapping not make more sense and considerably cheaper? Used kits on eBay are around £700.

DtD still offer 12% discount on a new SQ5. Dealer kept my agreed price (same as DtD) when I collected my car last month after a 9 month wait. They even discounted it further to get the 6.3% monthly PCP payments to match those of the 2.9% when I ordered. That made discount over 17%.

He might be able to get you into a new car, but I guess he hasn't said when though?

The only thing I've noticed (so far) on my new SQ5 is lack of wireless charging under the centre armrest. I don't think it's an easy or even possible retrofit but might be able to fit a car charger pad or similar connected to the USB-c port underneath

Nice car and much prefer those alloys to the ones fitted to the latest cars (including mine which has now been built and due in 5 weeks or thereabouts).

According to the Audi UK website, the SQ5 has emissions of 220 - 213 g/km and is Euro 6d-ISC-FCM compliant. However, according to the Audi.de website the SQ5 has emissions of 185 g/km and is also Euro 6d-ISC-FCM compliant. Why the difference? Although it makes little difference once registered...

I wasn't referring to what Audi or VAG should do about reducing the specification on their cars, but the cause of the shortage. As I understand it, the car manufacturers have now secured their allocations of semi-conductors and the rest of the electronics industry is having to wait its turn...

China also closed semi-conductor plants due to Covid and severe weather in Texas in 2021 caused a number of factories to close due to grid power restrictions. I work with a PCB assembler and the chip shortage is industry wide with delivery times on some chips that would normally take 4 weeks...

At what point is the dealer likely to get in touch about spec changes? I ordered an SQ5 (C+S) in July last year and although I haven't had a confirmed build week, it is provisionally set to week 10 (mid March), but I've not heard anything from the dealer either about confirmed build or spec...

Circumstances are somewhat exceptional at present, so I'm 'taking it on the chin' at the moment. It is a long wait, but I cashed in with my Golf so the money's in the bank, plus given how few new cars are being registered, I figure financially I should be doing well over my ownership period.

I ordered a new SQ5 on 20th July and have been given a provisional build of week 10, so early March. Been advised that it take up to 2 weeks in production and then 2/3 weeks in transport, so expected early / mid April. That's an 8½ to 9 months wait! It better be worth it.
