old ones off and cleaned up, just waiting on the verdict from a welder now, been and bought the gaskets and got the EGR valve ones as well might as well whip that off and clean it up whilst i'm playing! lol....

Think I've found the issue it seems there is a pipe that's cracked and sheared off but I have no idea what it is? Can anyone is it from these pics? Thanks guys!

Hi mate, Dark blue smoke, loss of power yes bit like lag, no work done recently, no engine lights or indicators just sounded like when you have a hole in the exhaust every time i put my foot down you could hear it blowing/getting louder??

Evening all after a bit of advice, on my way to work this evening i pulled out to overtake a car on a dual carriageway and when I went to put my foot down got a lot of smoke out the back and then the engine sounded like a tractor! i'm assuming the worst....Just wondered if anyone could confirm...

Yes mate the switch works perfectly apart from when in the dipped headlight position front and rear fogs work fine and switch illuminates?

Just doing a bit more research and have come across Ballasts? are these only on HID headlights?
