Cheers @Just Rob. Yep all working good now, I had a little teething issue at first. I purchased the connects 2 kit which comes with everything to make it ‘ plug and play ‘ but that never works out :welcoming:
Hi yes I bought the connects 2 kit ctkau02 which comes with everything needed to connect up along with the patch lead. There’s 4 flying wires
Pink
Purple/White
Green
And blue but I thought the blue one was the aerial which would connect to the aerial adapter ?
Evening all, just swopped my headunit for a pioneer double din, I’ve got Bose in the old girl but for some reason since fitting the new one there’s no sound at all any help in the right direction would be much appreciated
Thanks Ben
Yeah I think it's a pretty old unit to be honest and doesn't of much control on the iPod at all
so I've found one of these 8T0035785A would I need to change the radio or any other parts in the glove box in order for it to work ??
Right I've been doing some internet trolling and have read a few reviews on the Audi "iPod interface" and a lot of people don't rate it, sooooo my next route was maybe an rnse unit but I have bose will it be compatible if so what ipod options do I have for that??
Cheers Tony but I would really prefer an Audi set up if there's one available I have a 6 disc stack built into the head unit, I haven't actually removed the radio at all yet but I'm guessing there would be a port to plug into
so I've been trying to find info on how to connect an iPod to the old girl but I don't want to use a dension etc does any one know if Audi make/made an iPod adapter for the b7 if so would I still be able to get one??
