Connecting an MP3 Player or iPod

I assumed my Concert II does't have a CD changer control as it's a single-slot CD, which is why I went for the H/K. The ipod itself is mounted in the glovebox so is out of the way - I dismissed the dension setup because of the daft cradle thing and dangling cables I suppose ipod integration is...

Connecting an MP3 Player or iPod

I had same hassles with the quasi-legal i-Trips and they are as mentioned, all but worthless on any longish trip I now use the Harman/Kardon Drive & Play unit which I posted here with the pic below...

Akoya Vs Avus - how different?

I agree with you TDi with those bumpers - the S-Line is a single all-smooth affair, but has an odd black underside part too.Not sure why there is a difference at all to be honest, seems a bit academic, Roof spoiler is nice too, must get myself one of those... We were playing a bit of "spot the...

    MPG Results

That's just it I don't drive any slower than when I had my VR6 - cruise set to 85 (you can't average more than about 80 anyway) and I'm all but doubling my MPG - now it doesn't sound like a VR6 but if I can get it to perform like one with a Revo kit and still keep similar economy why would...

    MPG Results

On some recent trips back from Southend On Sea / Dartford to Somerset - mix of Mway and fast A road/dual carriageway - the DIS gave me around 56 MPG for the round-trip and I was tooling along at 80-85 when I could - can't ask for more than that from a 140bhp motor I've also left the P2 setting...

Akoya Vs Avus - how different?

Granted in the brochure they look different but hand-on-heart how could you tell which is which (if you didn't know about S-Line colours, the S-Line is Avus, the Sport is Akoya) Bearing in mind that the S-Line on the left was in the sun and the Sport in the shade, if I saw these two separately...

Mike, thanks for your help - I did email you today also and you replied very quickly too. Then I realised you have an Ipswich postcode - I'm in Somerset so it'd be a bit of a trek - a fun drive home after the mod I imagine tho Thanks again for your help guys, I'll give Bill a shout. Andy

Revo for 2.0TDi and remaps in general

excellent - fast responses or what, thanks for that guys! Makes me doubt my local Revo dealer somewhat (TSR), so wonder if I should try another dealer - Mike would you know of another dealer in Devon/Somerset area that DOES know what they're talking about...? ...and I WILL be trying this with...

Revo for 2.0TDi and remaps in general

Hi there, I've been quoted "about another 50bhp" for the Revo S1, by my local dealer (TSR in Somerset) - however the Revo remap isn't yet available for the 2.0TDi's apparently (hence the approximation in terms of gain). Total price around £500 + £150 for the Software + S1 key (plus VAT) Does...
