Keen to understand the outcome of this thread.
I am looking into retro fitting reclining 8v s-line seats into my 3 door 8p. Can anyone confirm if they loom needs to be changed or amended and are they a direct fit, are there any modifications required to the seat runners etc?
I am looking to change my front drop links due to wear and tear and am wondering if it's worth upgrading them from OEM to an aftermarket alternative. The car suspension is standard but I have been thinking about putting H&R springs on.
If I put the H&R's on is it necessary to upgrade the drop...
I recently had the EML come on, ran VAG-COM and it confirmed the following codes. Keen to check I am thinking correctly and what I need to rectify the problems.

Thread resurrection,
Car might be up for sale again. I landed up keeping it in the end as timing wasn't right. Would be open to pm's if anyone is interested.
Cheers
N8 no longer has this as he is currently entertaining and playing with VW's at the moment. He had a lovely ED30 which didn't stay standard for long, he has a new Golf R currently on order which should arrive soon.
He still has a place in his heart for an Audi, he is just currently in denial.
Not too sure if you have a Sportback but if it's a 3 door the only RS4 seats which will need to have come out of a convertible. I am aware the the RS4 seats have electric bolsters etc, you will possibly need to code them too.
As far as I am aware they should just bolt in, might be worth just double checking with someone who has done it. Alternatively ask NHN or N8 or find a set out of a S3.
I second Werksat, was looking into the Sonax range great alternative. Werksat works extremely well on cars with fleck / perl based paint etc. am keen to see how long the Sonax gear holds up on the paint.
