So finally found a gateway that will work with my concert HU in my 8L S3... But there's no info regarding compatibility with iphone 4. Website state that it'll work with nearly all the iPods and iPhone 3. But were they published before the iPhone 4 came out? Anyone know? This is the GWL1AU2...

Turns out I bought the wrong model for my concert stereo. It's for sale in the ads section now, as I need to get the GW16AU2 (not the AI2 which is for later stereo models). So much messin just to listen to your iPod!

Like a clutz! I bought the quadlock Dension gateway 100 for later Audi models. Code GW16AI2 So now it's for sale on eBay or to anyone on here. I paid £60 plus postage so offering it up for the same. Pm if interested! Cheers! Btw comes with cradle too!

Gonna go visit a Dension dealer in northampton tomorrow to discuss options. I got the concert 1 in the S3. I also noticed that the gateway unit itself unplugs from the cable that connects to the HU. Soooo I'm hoping that there's just another cable that connects the gateway to the HU with correct...

Or could I buy and fit a concert gen 2 or other HU that will fit the gateway? Ah so annoying trying to find the right kit just to use my iPhone! :banghead:

GW16AI2 Denison guide says this is for A3 1996-2003 RNS navigation system... But nothing on there for A3/S3 Concert 1... :-( Possible to buy adapter to change quad lock to iso?

Just bought a Dension Gateway 100. Got the iPod lead etc. It shows that it connects straight into the back if the head unit and then you gotta match up the Earth cable... I bought off a guy with a 2007 a3 using a concert head unit. My 2000 (8L) also has the standard concert head unit. I'm...

Managed to pick one up off eBay for £66 delivered.

From what I've found the 100 should work on the 8L aswell. Gonna buy one from eBay and see how it goes.

Does the Dension 100 also work for 8L model S3? I searched Dension gateway and only found the 500 available and it's £400! And how easy the install? Just plug and play?
