In all my best efforts with regards to getting up early.........in reality I know I won't, so I think I'll park with the "peasants", but utilising my clever parking tactics that gets me to the head of the crowd which hasn't failed me yet.

Cheers for the info. I've tested the unit. There is an open circuit through it. LED tests cranking the engine back this up. Damn electronics.

Just got the car back and I've been running tests. Looks like it the output stage that lives on the airbox, for the coils, thats gone. Hopefully a quick fix. Nothing compared to your wiring fire!! Is the car toast?

Mark, if you are looking at big turbo's make sure you look around. There are alot of kits available now from the likes of JBS, ATP Turbo (via uk suppier) etc. Make sure you consider a Garrett GT before you take the plunge.

I hope GTi International does improve. I've been going religiously for the last 6 years or so. I'll probably end up going in the end. I just hope its an improvement on this year!

GTI International is pants now. Too many politics and not enough show atmosphere. Just isn't the same as the old TRL days :-( E38 on the other hand is class. Well recommended. GTI festival is getting really good as well now.
