The cable came with it's own software - I scanned it and it's infested with trojans.

I have an original vcds that works well on my S3 8L. I have since bought a 07 Golf, so I've bought another from ebay. It has VAG 12.12 on the label and HEX+CAN Dual K & CAN <--> USB, Rev B. www.ross-tech.com. Looks like I've been duped with a fake ross tech vcds :-( Paid £190 for it too. :-(
