Where did you get the tunes from? The Mazda 2.3t (mps) is very difficult to tune properly. I used to have one and looked at the tuning options. I would not be surprised if the engine goes pop at some point I'm afraid.
Guys, I've finally got all the parts I think I need to replace the broken coolant flange on my 1.8t. I've stripped down the engine as I am replacing the thermostat housing as that is also broken, and replacing the hoses as they're brittle, soft or oil contaminated.
I am having trouble getting...
I've just read through your thread - a lot of excellent work gone in to that and its looking great!
Do you know if the HU that you bought will fit a none bose equipped A4? I need to get a pair of those washer jets.
My A4 didnt come with cruise control. I know it can be retrofitted, but I do not know what is needed to do it.
Can any kind soul let me know please?
Also, is there anything else that can be fitted / enabled via the convenience module?
Thanks.
Does anyone know where I can get new Hoses from other than audi? Or am I basically facing being relieved of a fair few quid?
The part that snapped is the plastic part to the heater matrix.
Priced up the parts from GSF - pretty good. Also priced up the injector seals from Mr Injector with filters etc.
The only parts I need to price up now are the coolant hoses. Any recommendations on where to get them, or am I going to have to go Audi?
Thanks.
The investigation of the Exxon Valdez's finest Niagra Falls impression has yielded two causes;
The plastic housing at the back has a snapped hose and what I believe is the thermostat housing below the inlet manifold has snapped.
The oil leak is from the cam cover. The spark plug recesses are...
Well the Exxon Valdez decided it wasnt just content with leaking oil today, it's now leaked it's coolant! Yay.
It's a huge leak coming from the back of the engine. As soon a I pour water in the header tank it comes straight out. I can't see very well where the leak is coming from without taking...
I shouldn't laugh but lol
Its either popped a hose or something else, but i need to know why it's popped a hose. Its at the back of the engine. As soon as a pour water in it comes straight back out the back. There was no hot air blowing through the heater and the water temp didn't go over 90 on...
Oil is such an emotive subject. For my soon to be purchased other car it is an easy decision for what oil to run it on, but not sure sure on my 1.8T.
The car has done 110k, I do not know if it is on variable or fixed servicing, but I know this;
It leaks a fair bit
I need to keep a tub of...
Ive generally found with the exception of one car that a regas hasn't resolved it.
The worry is the fact i only get hot air rather than cool air? Or is that to be expected?
