    Hi i have a 2004 1.9 tdi sport A4 Avant. I have checked the altenator fan as described in other posts and it just about spins with quite a bit of force. so i take it is faulty?? My question is that i have checked GSF website and they do two types of pulley for my car. The price varies...

    Did you strip the wiper motor down or replace it? Am only asking as i had the same problem but i stripped the motor and the mechanism was well rusted. i cleaned it all up and thru aload of grease in it and its working again. i suggest people try this first and save yourself £80/90.00.
