Noticed today while driving along an intermitant boost fault low down the revs, after 3k it pulls fine
I removed the pre cat with a long bar about 3 months ago and it's been sound had no issues, give it that little bit more lower down the revs.
I just can't get me head around this one, its due...
I have a vibrating noise from the diff (sounds like its dragging) when in first gear on full lock?
I have changed the diff oil (used genuine Audi stuff)
Made no difference
Seems to get louder when it's warm after a long journey
If the diff is shot :( would a diff off an allroad a6 fit?
As title, I know it's quattro but I'm guessing the hub might be abit different with it having different suspension setup?
Can anyone confirm? I'll post some pictures later
Thanks in advance
Mine comes up with the same fault, clear it and it comes back. I notice a small movement in the gear stick when I let off the power. It's their and will get done in summer. Doesn't seen to effect the car otherwise as far I can see is ok
I run mine on optimax as I thought this would help
This time round I used normal shell deisel and millers ecomax, it's been better for less smoke on start up but I need run another tank through yet
Maybe worth a punt for £10 a bottle (treats 10 50l fills) £1 a tank, which I'll probably do...
£40 a rim I can live with midlands not too far either worth a drive for the right job, have you got any details for him?
The seller said he'd help out with paying to sort them out so I'll get in touch with him see what he says
