Its discs, calipers and carriers. Both sides, i was wondering if the spacing would be the same as i know its not the same for the a3 fwd and the quattro but dont know vs S3 LCR A3Q
Hello All! This may have been covered and i realise, that its not much of a performance upgrade but would the REAR Lcr disk, carrier and caliper be a bolt on job on an A3 TQS?
This is one of the ones with the odd size rear as standard (I gather they're front lupo brakes if anyone knows.)...
I have a broken shock but im out in france at the moment and having a nightmare getting a part.
The part number ive got seems to be off a beetle? Has anyone else found this before, I don't want to order another pair and them turn out to be wrong.
2001 180bhp a3 all standard as far as I know.
See if I can resurrect this thread, now that cars are older there should be some more rattles and knocks.
I've changed the front wishbone and front arb bushes. Replaced track rod ends, replaced dog link, new top mounts (all oem) thought the poly would be too harsh for the lumpy W.Yorks...
Its the uk's safety/emissions test for cars. It passed but bad on emissions. Maybe a lambda sensor. My brakes are legal but im still not happy with them.
Tried it unplugged, just pulled it out while the engine was running. Eml didn't come on.
Drove smoothly but maybe not as quick.
Plugged new one back in and seems to be ok again. I've no idea now.
Front left abs sensor and rear right replaced, both failed within about 900miles. Finally replaced the ariel which needed some drilling, removed the back box which had rusted through. Only to find the shop didn't have the correct one. Sounds mean now though. Won't be rushing to put it back...
Not a bosche maf, have I chucked my money away? I didn't want to wring it's neck with it unplugged as the EML comes on.
Take that it's Ok to do so?
Cheers for the replies.
