Unfortunately not.
GTI is sold and S3 parked in the garage, cant drive it more before a new gearbox, will pick up my diesel gearbox in a couple of weeks, then the job of making two gearboxes become one awesome gearbox start :)
Probably doing shift forks etc while its first out. So knowing my...
Was at the garage to move the vibratechnics mounts from my gti over to the s3.
Noticed a LOT of oil from the gearbox, i guess one of my high speed cruises were to much for the fracture in the gearbox.
So car is now parked outside the garage and waiting for the GTI to be picked up in a week or...
Took a day of work to get some work done on the Golf im selling, selling it in parts, but someone bought the shell so had to take of a bunch of the performance parts im keeping for the black sheep (trying out names for it)
Bought some new screws for the door wingiethings at the bottom, since...

An alternative to your powersteering lines.
Routes both lines to the front of the car.
A small cooler, like a typical transcooler would be nice to mount at the same time :)
Found a OE one im gonna install, and if the control unit dies at some point i'm gonna try reusing the sensor with the ignitron control unit :)
Searching for a wiring diagram for the install now, as i wrote in my build post i assume its ground, 12v and a signal to ecu
4th gear and that rev range is quite high above the speed limits here and i live in the center of the capital, so not every day i can get to a stretch of road that its possible to do that kind of testing :racer:
Going away for the weekend, but i'll see what i can do next week. I want to get my...
This was yesterday.
As you can see i hit peak boost of 262kPa around 3940 in third gear.
In second i usually dont see peak boost before 4200+
Isnt this pretty late or am expecting to much from it?
Tried upping the duty cycle of the wastegate from 2000-4000 today, only got to test in second...
Pictureless update.
Been fiddling with more with the ECU and the map is starting to be pretty decent, boost onset is a little late because of my conservative PID control of the boost, but this is gettin sorted when i get to do some tuning again.
I'm at 1,6bar from 4000-5500 then tapering off...
Hi.
im running an APY with a frankenturbo f23 and Ignitron ecu and i want to install an EGT sensor and wire it into my ecu and this brings up a couple of questions.
Tried searching and think i know the thread pitch etc for the EGT bung on the housing (i assume the f23 uses a pretty standard k04...
Vital information i forgot to add.
I am already running a phenolic from big port to small port. But all that does is smooth out the transition, it's still a smaller tract going into a larger chamber.
That's actually the same resolution as i have on my 13 inch laptop. Maybe he already had the new .exe file ready for me then :)
So, trigger changed, fired right up, been driving around a bit learning the software and started doing some adjustments to the VE table.
Even dared going into boost...
Hehe, spent many weekends with a similar view in the GTI logging ME7.5
A quick update on the support from Ignitron again, i have a 13" laptop with a odd low resolution aspect ratio, so some windows were to big for the screen and not possible to scroll in to see the missing info.
Reported this...
Had some more time to work on the car last night.
Tried figuring out why it wouldn't start, got some amazing support from the guys behind Ignitron, i must say the support they've given is top notch.
After a while they started suspecting that i didnt have the standard cam trigger wheel for an...
As i wrote in the first post i'm using an ignitron ECU. So the basemap is configured for 550cc injectors.
Had it been a me7.5 ECU it would already be up and running, been mapping my old golf for quite some time :)
