Hi, I’m the summer my climate control/blower stopped working. Audi A3 8p 5 door tdi 58 plate All the lights were on but nothing happened. I replayed the fan and resistor (new part from ECP) behind the glove box and it worked.... next time I started the car there was a delay of a few minutes...

So finally decided... A friend of mine who owns a garage called me back today... £700 for a new audi turbo plus cost to fit... And he'll have it done by Christmas... Boom!

Cheers for clearing that up. Just not sure if I'm going to be keeping the car that long... Might risk the re-con... Garage said they would guarantee it for 1 year.

As I said it is a friend of a friend... Just worried come next MOT I'm stuck with a bill to pass... Might just go for the recon turbo... Cheers for all your help

Hi that's for clearing that up... The garage who has given me the cheapest quotes (a friend of a friend) has mentioned a remap and removing the DPF for £1300 including the hybrid turbo??? Does that sound about right? And I thought removing the DPF would be an automatic fail on the next MOT...
