    Exeo LED RNS-e or MK2 RNS-e

Elnur, I have come across this issue myself, but only on fake/chinese copy cables. Some control modules can be a bit difficult we trying to connect vcds. Have a look here: http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/faq_2.html Item 2.5 explains what you could do to help VCDS connect to difficult modules...

    Exeo LED RNS-e or MK2 RNS-e

Elnur, you need to change adaptation channel 62 in the instrument cluster. Read the value that is currently saved.(probably 17) Add 6 to this number (+2 for telephone & +4 for navigation) then test then save. Have a look here...

    Exeo LED RNS-e or MK2 RNS-e

Elnur, Did you change the instrument cluster adaptations? (this will show incoming calls and satnav directions) to answer using the steering wheel buttons you need to code the steering wheel. No idea why vcds wouldn't be able to find the telephone module.

    Exeo LED RNS-e or MK2 RNS-e

Elnur After you change the k-line pin the VCDS should be able to find the RNSE and you can change the coding & adaptation settings. The correct coding for your RNSE will depend on what equipment is installed in your car (bluetooth, MFSW, BOSE, CD-Changer etc). The adaptation settings in RNSE are...

    Exeo LED RNS-e or MK2 RNS-e

MFSW should work without the need for any additional parts. I upgraded my Concert2 to RNSE using this guide: http://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/done-retrofit-seat-exeo-led-rns-e-media-system-into-a4-b7.126757/

    Exeo LED RNS-e or MK2 RNS-e

The Seat exeo is exactly the same car as the Audi A4 b7, just has different lights and bumpers (and interior from Audi A4 cab with seat badges). The coding procedure via VCDS should be the same. Did you swap the k-line pin when changing from concert 2? (pin-outs on concert2 and rnse are...

    help needed.....its been stolen....again.....

If the problem was a connection at the back of the unit you would probably have no signal at all. I would let a garage sort it out. I am surprised that down grading from RNSE is more difficult rather than the other way round... hmmmm

    help needed.....its been stolen....again.....

H, All you really have to worry about is moving the bose pin, the rest of the pin-outs should be the same. On your wiring loom (because it is still configured for rnse) the bose pin will be on B7, you need to move this to B5 (correct position for bose pin for use with concert 2) Have a look at...

    A4 b7 mfsw fitted, Bluetooth/mode button non-functional.

You will have to code the bluetooth module (77) to say you have MFSW with thumb wheels. 0xx?xxx -- ? should be 1.. Have a look here: http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Audi_A4_(8E)_Telephone_Preparation#Adaptation Cheers, T

    Bluetooth retrofit help.

For SDS to work you need to set the coding in the telephone module to 0011802.... Second to last digit = 0.. Language (Voice control) off or via external device... I found out this way that my RNS-e does not support extra SDS..lame

    help needed.....its been stolen....again.....

H, I think 40quid is quite reasonable for an install, however it is more than easy enough to do yourself. Most of the retrofit guides on this forum are to upgrade from concert2 to RNSE, you will have to follow the procedure in reverse. I hope the thieving f**kers have at least been nice enought...

    help needed.....its been stolen....again.....

That really sucks.... And as desertstorm said it is a very common issue in the leeds area... I recently changed the concert 2+ radio in my A4 B7 to an RNS-E from a Seat Exeo (same dash as the A4 B7). To get this to work, all I had to do was move the BOSE pin & K-line pin on the quadlock...

VCDS cable purchased from Advanced In-Car Technology

I also bought a VCDS cable from Advanced-in-car. Ordered on Wednesday 1030AM delivered next day before 10AM. Fantastic service.!!! It cleared all the error codes and coded the steering wheel without issues... Bluetooth is now also fully working.. Shame I found out my RNS-E MK2 (from a seat Exeo)...

    Rns-e Problem

If it only affects radio then it won't be gala or a faulty volume knob. Sounds like a reception issue..

    Exeo LED RNS-e or MK2 RNS-e

I did the same with my B7 A4. Swapped the concert 2+ radio/cd for an RNS-E from a Seat Exeo. Technically the RNS-E from the Exeo is exactly the same unit as the one in the 2010 A3, great bit of kit.
