Hmm maybe I'll see if I can find a cheap Auto switch in a scrappy and test. Yeah i was surprised that it doesn't have Auto headlight especially because it's a 3.0 it's an Irish spec car though for example despite having all the s line options it's actually a Quattro sport model as true s line...

also possibly is it just a case that if i fit the "auto" headlight switch - it will work but just all the time regardless of day/night? although from all i have read its a combination of the light sensor in the windscreen and the auto headlight switch - not too pushed on buying an auto switch...

from what i understand it uses the light sensor that is built into the windscreen just above the rear view mirror on cars fitted with auto lights, just thought that maybe the other light sensor that tells the dash to dim could be used instead, i have activated all the respective options in vcds...

Hi folks I going to remove the dpf on my ccwa 3.0 TDI ideally this weekend by gutting the original, does anyone know will it put the car straight into limp mode or just dpf light? I intend to have it remapped asap.but don't fancy driving round in limp mode for possibly a week :) Thanks
