    Deepwater Horizon

Takes about 20 minutes to get going, then got into it, tells the story of the Rig workers and not the eco-warriors going on about the damage to the enviroment, nice to hear the human side of the story.

    BRIDGETTE JONES BABY

Would rather go to the dentist than sit through tosh like this again, not one for me, keeps SWMBO happy this sort of thing, earns a few brownie points if I keep my mouth shut in cinema.

    Star Trek Beyond

Never really been a Trekkie, Took my Mother to the last three of these re-boots as she has always been into the Star Trek TV and films stuff, neither of my siblings wanted to watch these, so I volunteered not really expecting much, overall though I have enjoyed all three of the new one's...

    INDEPENDENCE DAY RESURGENCE

Not as good as i was hoping, after a 20 year wait thought they would of come up with something better, story line and plot were weak, special effects were better, not worth paying for, wait for it when nothing better to watch on terrestrial TV.

    ME BEFORE YOU

Not my usual type of film to watch, SWMBO fancied watching it, so thought I'd earn a few good boy points and go along, actually enjoyed it some good performances all round, was not as an intense love story as I was expecting, some good humour thrown in to the mix, so if some of you get dragged...

    EYE IN THE SKY

Great film, some good performances all round, certainly gets you thinking about the use of Drones in combat. Well worth watching.

    EDDIE THE EAGLE

Enjoyed this, a feel good film, some good humour, decent soundtrack, worth a watch.

    THE BOY

Horror but not that scary, little predictable, the doll was probably the best actor, only worth watching if you really have nothing else better to do.

    London Has Fallen

How to milk a franchise, not a patch on Olympus has fallen, plenty of action to keep you interested, some of the CGI's were poor, one too watch when your not in a thinking mood.

    Dad's Army (2016)

Better than expected, is it worth going too the pictures, mmm possibly not.

    SPOTLIGHT

Very good film, despite the subject matter which may not be to everyone's taste. Moves along at a nice steady pace, to keep you engaged all the way through. Definitely worth watching.

    Christmas with the Coopers

Highly predictable family comedy/drama with a couple of Christmas jokes thrown in. Predictable but enjoyable.

    Black Mass

Mr Depp as the lead role, made me a bit uncertain as whether to watch this after his attempt as a gangster in Public Enemies, so off to the cinema as my niece wanted to see this, was not expecting too much, turns out it was pretty good in the end, one of Johnny Depp's better roles when he is not...

    Bridge of Spies

Enjoyed this, good performances from Tom Hanks and Mark Rylance, considering the 2hr21m running time, moved a long at a nice steady pace, well worth watching.

As above, anyone using one? any good? my pump is getting tired and needs replacing was struggling to fuel the car higher up the rev range when getting it mapped, worth getting one of these?

    Lady in the Van

Mum wanted to see this so being the dutiful Son took her to the cinema, was not expecting to enjoy it, turned out a lot better than I imagined as it's not the type of film I tend to watch. some good humour and well written. If you fancy something different to car chases and shoot em ups, worth...

    Spectre

Bit of a let down this considering all the hype, like Quantum was a poor follow on from Casino Royal, this was a poor follow on from Skyfall. Is it time for a new Bond???

    Last Witch Hunter

Save your money and wait for it to turn up on telly, only thing I liked was the cover version of Rolling Stones song Paint It Black over the credits at the end.

    Sicario

Not as good as I was hoping, plot didn't flow that well, one too watch on DVD when nothing else on telly.
