I bought of eBay with my first set of pressed plates for my 8P... They were rubbish, the front one de-laminated after about 2 to 3 weeks. I have bought some for my 8V from Dubmeister, you pay a bit more but the quality is much better! No issues yet.

The cars are prepped off site with Bexley Audi. They are prepared in Croydon somewhere then transferred to Bexley. Just to let you know :)

Yep they are active on the M25 J5 - J6. Pass them everyday, they go off when there are no signs stating the speed limit (when the road defaults to 70). There are 2 cameras each way, on the same gantry as the other carriageway.

You only have to look at the racing that Audi Sport Team Joest are competing in (FIA WEC) with their R18 diesel e-tron to see that it looks as though their focus seems to be on diesel. I think that diesel is a path they are very likely to take! The R18 sounds like a jet too! :)

I'm not bothered about the polished part either because that doesn't stand out like on the black edition rotors. Any one know of any decent powder coaters in South London or Kent?

My S Line Alloys are a bit dirty and looking more anthracite... I think they look and suit the car alot better with the bit of contrast. Anyone else think the same? Seriously thinking about getting them changed to anthracite.

Thanks for the replies. I have worked out kerb drop. It was already activated so either dealer done it as part of PDI or it comes from factory like it now? Also worked out the DAB part, you need to select it on the mmi first in 'memory' mode. Still not sure about the iPod continuing to play...

Getting used to my A3 now but 2 things I have found are bugging me. 1st is there a way of setting the car to use the 'memory' setting on the DIS as default? It keeps defaulting to DAB in general. 2nd the iPod, it seems to continue playing when I have turned the car off, next time I get in the...

Collected today, haven't really had a chance to have a proper play as I had to go straight to work. But the 30 mile commute was fun, the car just feels effortless! Definatly better than my old PD170! I am glad i stuck with the 'sports' suspension as it still is quite firm but not uncomfortable...
