When I had my A4 TDi 170 the belt was changed at 133,000 miles, which I believe is the interval stated in the service book, given this length of life it doesn't seem as expensive splashing out on OE parts.

I haven't replaced the speakers in my car for a while, but my experience with Vibe is that they aren't much good, exaggerated claims of performance etc. I've always had good experiences with Alpine, in a toss up between the 2 I would back the Alpine option.

Also, reading the 2 adverts posted above, I was aware that the C7 3.0TDi returned better mpgs than the C6, but I had not realised it came at the cost of 100Nm reduction in torque [emoji53]

I picked up a C6 3.0TDi Quattro over a C7 for the same reason, got a lot more spec plus the Quattro for my money.
I've had mine for nearly 2 years now, it's not had many problems, I think the usual full service history requirement applies. I recently had to get the injector seals replaced as...
The 3.0TDi will be a little bit thirsty on the round town trips, but it's got a nice amount of torque so it'll be fun to drive. I enjoy my 3.0TDi Quattro A6 a lot and yours will be a little lighter so even more fun [emoji106]

I didn't think to ask, might see if I can get a can of matching paint before I look for replacements. I believe the place I went to only do powder coating which could get messy with plastic parts [emoji6]

I might be missing something but what's the reason for blurring them? Anyone who drives past my car can see the plate, likewise when I'm driving along. Happy to take advice but I like to understand the reasons [emoji106]

Mine looked like that when I bought the car, seems to be the case for most of them.
I used this kit, it's basically a drill fitting with different grades of wet and dry in discs that you work from coarse to fine.

On mine I got the beep and the light flashed, but whilst the light was flashing I could still hear the clicking from the working ones. It's worth a go.

For the parking sensors I have previously diagnosed them by activating the system and crawling around and putting my ear against them one at a time. Working ones have a clicking sound, faulty ones do not. I have replaced 2 over the last couple of years diagnosing them this way [emoji106]...
The big difference with the with the A4 is that the B8.5 had a full LED rear light option, and those lights were the same size / shape on the Avant from the B8 to the B8.5. That means the convenience unit had the option to switch off the bulb check. The full LED rear option did not become an...
It's a pain in the proverbial. You can pull the top of the trim away, it has a kind of hook that bends up into a hole in the panel behind. You can access the required area by holding the trim away, without releasing it at the bottom. To release the bottom part you would need to unfasten the...
€15 for the pair and €14.90 for postage. I thought that was reasonable for international shipping.
I don't think they use a relay, have a feeling it is a capacitor inside and something else, maybe I should have dissected one! Anyway there is no click, no flash and no error on my reverse...
They charged me €14.90 for postage, sorry but I didn't want to say anything till I had received / installed / tested. I'm sure they would be happy to supply you, they were very helpful and speak (write) much better English than I do German. Just use the contact form on the site like I did. I...
I bought a pair of these which arrived today, saw the website and was interested so I got in touch and organised getting them shipped to the UK, I have tested them today and they work great for the reversing lights, no click either [emoji106]...
