There are approx 5 8V's here at work and I'm pretty sure there's one with the wheels you describe. I'll have a gander in the carpark and take a pic if I see it.

I'm pretty sure that you can setup the car to sound an audible and visible dash alarm when exceeding a certain speed in the MMI My car is seems to have been set at 90mph from the factory.....

My S Line has the storage compartment - Only problem is that the first aid kit is wedged in so tight, I can't get it out !

Hi Phil These are all company motors, so we HAVE to choose diesel, no petrol engines allowed.... I personally wanted the extras found in the S Line spec, whereas others probably aren't bothered if they had a 'better spec' such as 18" wheels/Xenons etc. The Slines are 2.0 TDI / Sport...

Here at work, the current split is: S line = 2 Sport = 1 SE = 2 I've seen more non-S line spec 8V's than Slines when out on the road.

I deleted the badges on my A3 for a cleaner look, that's all. For example there's a guy here at work with a new Porsche and the rear decklid is covered in badges and scripts, looks really messy IMO.

I've got 2 stone chips on the bonnet, each looks like a 'pin head'. I've been really careful with the car since delivery, & like you, I always keep well back from the car in front, but it seems inevitable...

My SB with sport suspension is fine, very comfy without any jarring at all. I'd have gone for the full S line suspension if it had been available at the time. I tested an 8V A3 with the 25mm drop & it felt fine to me. - I've not driven the older 8P cars, so don't have anything to compare it to.

My brilliant red 2.0 tdi SB was delivered this morning , I'm a happy bunny.

My Lease company contacted me today, my SB 2.0 TDI S-Line will be delivered on Friday morning! Can't wait !! :yahoo:

Are there any rubber mats available for the 8v yet ? From a practical point of view I find them better than carpet alternatives. Cheers Steven

My SB was built in week 6 apparently. I chased up the Lease company yesterday, as my "in stock" date was 20/3 & I'd not recieved any updates. I was told that its going to be another 3 weeks or so before delivery....*sigh*....this waiting malarky is getting old...

I much prefer the MK6 Golf to the new MK7 to be honest, both interior and exterior. After test driving an 8v A3, BMW 1 Series , Alfa Gullietta & MK7 Golf , the Audi was the clear winner for me. The interior was the biggest selling point for me, simply gorgeous. Can't wait to take delivery...
