Yeah I fit a complete solid flywheel and clutch kit, as I say it's prob done around 8-10k and never drove it silly. It worked fine yesterday and I couldn't get it to slip (as it does on its own) which was weird and today it's back to normal/fault etc.
Sounds exactly the same as yours...
But surely if I pressed the clutch as it started to slip then it I would be able to make it slip even worse/more?
I know how to test the clutch in every way so if the clutch was weak then surely that would show when putting it through all test procedures?
The clutch kit was a valeo from euro...
I'm in need of some help (as you do)
i work in the motor trade but I work on Porsches and ferrari etc. my knowledge on general cars is vague....
i have a 2004 2.0tdi a3, I bought the car 15 months ago and as I bought it the guy said it has had a remap.... It seemed a little nippy but nothing...
Sorry, mis led you there,
I meant I want to fit some 6x9's in the rear parcel shelf and tap in to the wiring that powers the rear quarter panel speakers.
(Not replace the rear speakers with 6x9's)
Sorry...
Well I wanted to just "pop in" some 6x9's haha...
It's a stock a3 tdi sport with a stock head unit and rear sub.
Just thought of tapping in to the rear speakers to run some 6x9's but didn't know if it would cut the tiny amp out as I think the rear speakers are run from it...?
Cheers guys. Im wanting to upgrade the system and also wondered if its possibe to tap the rear speakers to run some subtle 6x9's ???
(Think my rear ones are powered by the tiny amp in the rear stock sub box..??? "Non bose")
