    recently got a 2.0 tdi 184 and just noticed that when I’m stationary and rev the engine it limits out at 2500rpm, when driving it’s fine, no codes on vcds. Is this an issue or normal for this engine, always had petrol before this Cheers in advance

    Mine is an MY10 S3 and had the old type DV, changed it for a rev D.

    Mine flutters during the top end of spool up while accelrating, no power loss or anything. Then on the gear change it sounds quite normal with just a little hiss. Running stage 1 with a Forge twintake, does this sound OK or a bit concerning?

    Agree 100% with S3Alex, I've got a forge catch can and empty it around every 1500-1800 miles, although not full the amount of crap coming out of it is pretty significant.

    Not a lot I can do with the oil cap, that's the way it sits when fully engaged, unless there's a way of moving the neck extension on the rocker cover. The catch can hoses came with the can from Forge, rather nice braided ones.

    Didn't really like the Neuspeed cover (which will be for sale) so I went for a TTS cover to go with the twintake on the S3, so £85 incl mounting bolts and 10 mins later. All that's left to do is find something to attach the 'S' badge to the cover. Are there any sticky pads that will do this...
