Wow!, thanks for the indepth reply, going by what your describing it would seem that there Must be 'Rear Sunroof- Drainage pipes' that I've failed to locate. I've managed to feed a flexible plastic pipe down both Front drainage channels, didn't see or realize there are two at the back!

After finding water in my A3 8l drivers footwell and the footwell behind the driver yesterday, I've stripped off the scuttle panel but found no blockages or any signs of ingress.
I then opened up my sunroof and fed through a long length of plastic tubing down the drainage channels.
Am I right in...
How do you re-set this, it flashes for about 1 minute then returns to mileage.
I've tried pressing the holding the right hand speedo and pressing the left hand speedo knobs but it just cycles through the DIS check list and finishes at OK.
Any help would appreciated.

I had high revs (2000) problem, on start up as well as problem starting when engine was hot.
So ordered a 'crankshaft sensor' and fitted it today, took me 50minutes all in and problems sorted.

I had the same problem with mine. Changed the thermostat, problem solved. As the temp gauge doesn't start to register till water temp reaches 60* , it can take a while ,especially in freezing outside temperatures.
Hi folks, I'm mostly found on the A3 8l section but I've rather impulsively bought myself a 07 2.0T TT Roadster.
The rear wing Ariel looks slightly antiquated is there anything you can replace it with to make it work just as good
but look more modern i.e short stubby?

Yes ,the bottom bolt is awkward to get to but the 5mm Allen key socket worked a lot better than the 10mm socket.
An hours work and not much more than a £10 for the parts.;)
Quick update, changed the temperature sensor first as it's the easiest - still no change in the gauge .
Changed the thermostat, both housing bolts are 10mm socket headed But also have 5mm Allen head
socket centre's which was the way to get proper purchase on tightening, anyway topped it up with...
