yeah had a fiddle about under the seat,light stayed on. I suppose you would have to clear the light through vag-com....?

Have got airbag warning light permanently on dash and vag-com is pointing to the passenger seat belt. Does anyone know where you can buy a complete seat belt apart from going to the dealers? Cheers

yeah tim I was thinking turbo which is why I checked the shaft play earlier today,I know this doesn't rule it out but like you said it would happen all the time if the turbo was at fault ,and no blue smoke is present from the exhaust.....? Because I think it's right side of engine I keep...

Been poking about engine bay today still looking for squealing culprit and thought I'd remove Tip off turbo to check for play and the shaft doesn't seem to have much play at all:happy:,very slightly side to side and thats it. Their was some oil residue on inside off the pipe,is this ok?

While looking into boost issue noise from previous post,I had front bumper off earlier looking at IC pipes I noticed the metal large one (2.5" ish) that joins up each IC,runs behind rad,a smaller pipe (1.5" ish) is welded to it. Mine has a small gap in the weld,but doesn't look like damage has...

Took the orange pipe off today and it looks fine. Thought I'd cracked it when I was tighten various jubilee clips around the engine bay and the one on the pipe from air box to turbo snapped,replaced it,went on test drive and thought bingo!!!........a few miles later it reappeared! Am I correct...

Have been getting a squealing noise on my S3 BAM the last couple of weeks. The boost builds up then the squealing/shrieking starts,usually when you've got the car under load or planting your foot. Got a my vag mechanic friend to take a peek and he suggested change the dv valve which I did this...

My local audi dealer said they would look at my S3 regarding coil packs change but wouldn't say if it would remove my remap if they downloaded new software onto the ecu? Are they talking crap? I take it people have had there coil packs changed with remaps on their S3 and had no problems after.

Have one broken spring on the rear of my 8L bam,will have to change both springs or I'm thinking of changing the whole lot front and rear. I want to keep it standard (have 6mth old son who likes to sleep in the car so no coilovers!:no:),can anyone recommend a o.e shocks and springs package...
