    New A5 - 45,000 miles in

Hi guys, Been a fairly long term member of Audi-Sport so figured I’d post a brief summary of my A5 ownership as it’s currently in the dealership having it’s service. Mines a ‘17 2.0TDi Quattro S-Tronic, I cover quite a few miles per year hence why I’m already on 45k miles. I’ve so far had 1...

You must be getting sick of me now...

Hey guys and gals, so I return...again...again Been a member for some years, owned a couple of A3 S-Lines but then things got serious and I had to move up with the big boys! So after departing from my 2013 A3 S-Line, which was very, very well specced, I went for the fat lad...the BMW 520D M...

    Slight issue

Hey guys, I've had my A3 for a few weeks now and noticed yesterday there's a hissing noise coming from the exhaust. Is this normal? It's a 2.0TDI with 6k miles on the clock. The hissing noise is there regardless of whether the A/C is on or not? Thanks for any help :)

    Retrofits and Alloys

Hey everyone, Couple of questions; Is anyone local to Lincolnshire who has vcds to code the dipping mirror and needle sweep? Also, probably one for NHN, can I retrofit the rear reverse camera? I have full MMI Plus, what other parts will be needed? Lastly, I'm thinking of different alloys...

Well, I'm still with my BMW's but going to view a nearly new ex demo A3 S-Line tonight. There's no pictures on the website so could someone post up pics of their Dakota grey A3 please? I'm yet to see it in the flesh. The one I'm going to see has MMI plus and B&O, I do love my sound! Noticed...

    God Damn Bulb Holders!!

One of my Mtec bulbs stopped working after only 2 days! So I thought I'd go out this morning and change it back the original ones, the Mtec that was still working on the nearside went fine, swapped it over no problem. Went to the offside of the one that wasn't working, twisted the bulb holder...

Hi guys, Well now I've got a few bits sorted I thought I'd get a progress thread started :) I p/x my Seat Leon Cupra in for the A3, the Cupra was a great car but was expensive to run, so onwards and upwards with the TDI! This is my 5th diesel car, and I keep coming back to them! I picked up...

    LHD Bi-Xenon

Hi peeps, As I was scouring the net I found that the Golf Bi-Xenon headlamps have a switch next to the projector lens inside that flips between UK and EU driving, is this the same for the LED Bi-Xenon units of the A3? I can only assume that when the lever is flicked up or down for different...

    Chrome Rings around Foglights?

Does anyone know if these can be bought separate? I've had the 'blacked out stealth look' cars before, so I'm thinking of adding the chrome S3 grill to mine, but also like the looks of the chrome fog light rings to match. Ideas?

    Spacers

Hi peeps, Has anyone on here installed spacers on the front and back with standard alloys? I'm getting my alloys either doneBE grey or chrome black soon but want to poke them out abit. Was thinking 5mm on the front and 15 or 10mm on the back, what do you think? Cheers, Dan.

    ET35 Alloys fitment?

As I've got a few people interested and itching to buy my wheels, the ones I'm looking at have an ET of 35, I think the standard S-Line alloys are 44 or something? The new alloys are 18's, so does ET35 mean they'll stick out further? Cheers :)

Sorry for another thread :) Just taken the misses home and we both had the seats on level 6 and they barely get warm. My mum's old Scirocco was hot on 6 and then had to turn it down, looking on google it seems Audi adjusted the temp levels. Is there anyway with vagcom of adjusting this? I only...

    Splitting LED Xenon Headlight

Hello, Well planning for the future, I'd look to get the LED Bi-Xenon headlamps, they're costly but worth it :) Main question, I wonder if anyone has tried to split them apart? Normal method is high temp oven, but as technology progresses with the sealants etc I suspect they're harder to break...
