As we all know, the ignition system on these things is utter scrap.
A mate mentioned doing a single coil conversion from a Vauxhall Cavalier/Vectra 2.0 16v engine (X20XEV).
Does anyone have any info regarding this?

Im currently in talks with my work about buying a 56 plate Fabia VRS thats just been traded in.
However there is a couple of problems....
The car itself has done 65K miles, has some fancy grey/blue leather seats front...

Mr Postman delivered my present to myself today so I set about fitting it.
Wired up the lamp in it so it illuminates at the same time as the clocks. It lit up yellow which I didn't like so painted the bulb red and now fits in better.
I need to get a piece of trim to go around the gauge...
I have an AGU with a remap, Apexi CAI, decat, and full Scorpion system.
Is it worth spending any more money on stuff while i still have this turbo?

For a few weeks now my car has decided to shout at me every time i drive it. It flashes up the brake warning on the dashboard most times i brake. If im at a constant speed its ok, but as soon as i either steer or brake it flashes up and makes me want to kill people.
Pads are new, ABS works...

The reason i ask is i hit just over an 'indicated' 150mph last night. (Remapped AGU with full Scorpion exhaust and decat)
I binned my 19" RS6's as they were just toooo big, and after a couple of months I stumbled across these going cheapish on eBay and they were local too.
Fired some new rubber on and fitted them.

Ever since ive owned my car, the ABS has gone daft when pulling away from a standstill and when travelling <5mph.
Very strange and annoying.

Did a VAG COM log last week which resulted in 194bhp.
Today i fitted a 3" downpipe and decat, mated to a Scorpion full system off a Golf IV GTi T and made 199.3bhp according to VAG COM.
Not a bad gain for £100!
Im just wondering what the actual benefits are of fitting a Forge or similar diverter valve?
I have a new OEM one from a Saab Turbo that works well and im curious as to how much better a branded alloy one is?

Did a MAF log and ive also added a sum to calc BHP (MAF reading divided by 0.8 if i am correct?)
Car is an A3 AGU engine. Remap and CAI. I think its slightly more than it should be? (Going on if my calculations are correct anyway lol)
