ive had a small weld on the clutch pedal itself go on mine....

whilst doing the head gasket test, the pipe connected to the thermostat, radiator was freezing cold so it would suggest the thermostat iisnt opening therefore the fans dont get to 90 because they assume the car is cold if that makes sense?

Hi guys looking for some advice or my 8l s3, she was overheating past the 90 so my first thought was its a possible head gasket. I have no gunge, loss of coolant etc so wasnt convinced, just had a head gasket test which came back fine. is this a thermostat issue or possibly something to do with...

guy girls, want to remove my central column of dash and fix the cup holder that wont pop out! how do i get it all apart? please help quick i wanna do it today on my day off! ill put the kettle on! wud do it now but i dont want to just hack at it if sum1 knows how to do it properly. thanks.:wacko:

anyone know where to get a new cup holder for my s3 on an x reg? ****** things stuck in place!! Also my rear washer doesnt work, i can tell its a hereditary thing with s3/a3's but does anyone know how to fix them? the motor works so it must just be a block in the hoseing.:unsure:

Look on the bright side- there is a possibility in around 20 years the car might treble in price and become a collector! chances are the world will have ended and the car will have rusted out!!! not only that, how good does your audi stand out over a piece of crap like that!!!

thanks guys, i think ill clean fuses, disconnect the battery and if all else fails take it to vag-com! dont htink theres a fault on the abs or esp though. cheers! ill let i know what works or doesnt!

It comes on when i start the car, beeps 3 times and then the symbol just flashes constantly. It only came on wen i put the battery back in! was nothing wrong before. when i turn the ignition on the abs light should go out the same as the oil lights etc.

guys/girls, My battery went dead on s3 (2000). I have since rectified the one touch window error and the radio code etc but the display states a problem with the abs/esp. the esp switch doesnt work and abs just beeps at me! Im sure its just because ive disconnected the battery but dont know...
